Southern Shuttle Service to Phase Out Diesel Trains Once New EMU Fleet Arrives, Says Loke
Malaysia's Transport Ministry is using diesel trains temporarily on the Southern Shuttle service in Johor while waiting for new Electric Multiple Unit trains. The government has allocated RM11-15 million annually to subsidise the rail service.
