Government Raises Annual Funding for Community Watch Groups to RM10,000
The Malaysian government has approved increasing annual grants for Neighbourhood Watch Areas (KRT) to RM10,000, up from RM6,000, marking the first increase in a decade. The new rate takes effect from January 1, 2027.
