Malaysia to Strengthen Layang-Layang Island Defences with New Air Radar System
Malaysia's Defence Ministry will bolster strategic capabilities at Layang-Layang Island, including installing an air defence radar by 2029 to complement existing maritime surveillance and reinforce sovereignty claims in the contested South China Sea.
